Many people come to me to quit smoking and say that they want to quit but there is a part of them that still enjoys smoking. My reply to this is somewhat brutal but you cannot sugar coat
Everybody likes a fair deal. If I was to ask you to enter into a deal where you got nothing from it and it disadvantaged, you I very much doubt that you will enter into the deal. Here’s the deal that you have with smoking cigarettes; for whatever benefit that you perceive that you are getting from smoking the flip side is that you will die early and it will probably be a miserable death from the numerous diseases caused by smoking. In anybody’s book that is not a fair deal.
Also would you make friends with somebody who would slowly but surely kill you? The answer is probably no, but this is the friendship that you have with smoking!
So when you decide to stop smoking cigarettes and you still have doubts my advice to you is to think about what I have written. It’s brutal and you might think that it is over the top, but it’s true!
When you make the decision to quit smoking take action as soon as possible as the longer you wait the more doubts that you will have.
