Are You a Good Role Model for Your Children?

One of the many reasons why people decide to quit smoking is the person feels they are not a good role model for their children.

Children look up to their parents and often mimic what they do. I have lost count of the number of people who have come to quit smoking because their child has been seen pretending to smoke cigarettes. Young Kids think everything you do is right and acceptable!

You Know You Need to Quit Smoking, But Do You Want To?

I had a client recently who came to me to quit smoking. He had been smoking for 50 years and was smoking 40 to 50 cigarettes a day.
When I asked him if he thought that smoking cigarettes controlled him he replied, no. This really puzzled me because he was spending hours and hours every day smoking.
So, then I asked him: if cigarettes don’t control you, what do you reckon is stopping you from quitting smoking?  Easy, He replied,  because I didn’t want to.
