The other day I pulled into the parking lot of my local shops. As I got out of my car a guy came running up to me. At first, I was a little alarmed, not sure what it was all about. The guy said, I’m really glad to see you again. I’ve been meaning to get in contact with you. It’s been six years since I saw you to stop smoking and I’m still a non-smoker, thank you.

I was blown away by this and I thought that I have the best occupation in the world.

Life must have been feeling kind to me because a few days after this I was once again parking at the shopping centre when a lady walked up to me and said, hello Steve how are you. I was a bit puzzled as I had never seen her before. She then said, you don’t know me but you helped my husband quit smoking and saved his life. I’ve sent five friends to you, all of which have stopped smoking since seeing you.

Once again, I was just blown away. It’s really great when you can see the results of what you are doing. I’m extremely grateful for being able to do what I do and yes, I do love doing what I do.
